As employees or employers at Thorpe Park, coming to work does not have to be all work and no play. The emphasis therefore on a more enjoyable experience of being at work – when time permits obviously! – is an important element of the culture that is hoped can be created at Thorpe Park. The location of the work place is almost as important as the job itself, therefore accessibility to the Park as well as the surroundings are also an essential part of work and is now recognised by businesses as an essential element of staff attraction and retention.


To achieve this, more interaction – be it within your own company or with people who have a common interest, there has to be an interface through which information, ideas and suggestions can be communicated. The Park Life web site will allow the owners of Thorpe Park to facilitate the coming together of users of the Park through various activities and gatherings, and listening to feedback and suggestions from others. Working together on this will ensure that events are tailored to specific needs where sufficient demand is received.


The web site is therefore hoped to be an informal portal through which the owners and users of the Park can communicate ideas to ensure Park Life is more enjoyable for all concerned.
